Wild Coast Lodge’s unique design sees man-made structures blend seamlessly into the surrounding landscape with the use of carefully selected natural materials, bamboo cladding and domed canvas to mirror the shape and colour of the area’s rocks and boulders. The 24 guests tents are the epitome of luxury under canvas with state of the art technology, four poster beds and contemporary safari-style furniture. The open-air ‘Ten Tuskers’ bar and dining pavilion wrap around the resort’s expansive swimming pool and enjoy views across the golden beach beyond. Creative, daily-changing menus feature authentic Sri Lankan cuisine and al fresco picnics on the sand dunes are the perfect way to watch dusk settle over the Indian Ocean.
Daily excursions to the quietest corners of Yala National Park, guided by expert naturalists, showcase the incredible diversity of flora and fauna, including elephants, sloth bears and leopards.
