Operating seasonally, the camp relocates between the southern Serengeti during calving season and the northern Serengeti during the dramatic river crossings, ensuring optimal wildlife encounters year-round.
Comprising just eight spacious tents—including a two-room family suite—Ubuntu is designed for travellers seeking both adventure and comfort. Each suite is thoughtfully styled with king or twin beds, woven rugs, soft lighting, and contemporary safari furnishings. En suite bathrooms include hot bucket showers and flushing toilets, while shaded verandas invite peaceful moments with uninterrupted views across the savannah.
Ubuntu’s main lounge and dining tent provides a relaxed setting for shared meals, pre-dinner drinks, and fireside stories beneath the stars. Meals are freshly prepared using local ingredients and can be enjoyed communally or in private al fresco settings. The team at Ubuntu delivers warm, attentive service with genuine care, creating an atmosphere that feels both homely and refined.
