The incredibly luxurious and immaculate desert camp, The Serai, lies in the middle of scrub and farmland in its own little oasis 45 minutes away from the craziness of Jaisalmer.
This is a beautiful and stylish place with divine desert views and exquisite night skies. The peace, the birdsong, the stars, the silence, the cool mornings, the rustling grasses are beyond belief.
The Serai offers enormous tents that are magnificently and opulently furnished in classic elegant desert themes with a large sitting area inside and outside, and perfect spacious bathrooms (some with an outdoor plunge pool).
No expense has been spared. Tents are gracefully set amidst greenery making them a private haven. After a day exploring the vast desert wilderness enjoy sundowners on the dunes and dinner either in the bush (impossibly romantic) or the dining tent serving sumptuous local delicacies and international cuisine.
