The Lodhi started life in 2009 as an Amanresort city hotel and is now proud to be an independent, standalone entity. Located on the edge of Lutyen’s Delhi and ten minutes from Connaught Place in the heart of the city, The Lodhi is easily accessible from the Indira Gandhi international airport, some 25 kilometers and 40 minutes away.
The Lodhi’s 40 rooms and suites are located in an elegant nine-storey, two winged structure. All were extensively renovated with Delhi based architects, Designplus, in 2012 to reflect a contemporary flair with extensive use of local materials. Rooms and suites have their own private plunge pool and extensive balconies. Furnished for comfort and ease, all rooms and suites have king size beds, upholstered sofas and chairs, desks, with ambient lighting.
The ethos is simple and easy luxury. It is also an ethos of ‘contrasts’ from the dynamic and vibrant atmosphere in the restaurants, courtyards and public areas to the seclusion, peaceful and club-like atmosphere of the seven floors of guest accommodation.
