The Gateway Hotel is perched atop the Pasumalai Hill, amid 62 acres of peaceful, landscaped gardens. It is 15km from Madurai Airport and a 15-minute drive from Madurai City Centre.

Located on the banks of Vaigai River, Madurai is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu. Known as ” the Athens of the East, ” the city is globally famous for its jasmines. It has been an important commercial center since 550 A.D. and is also home to many religious and historic landmarks. The Gateway Hotel Pasumalai is close to Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thirumalai Nayak Palace. Additional area attractions include Vandiyur Mariamman Teppakulam.
