The unique Savanna Lodge is situated in the world renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which borders South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park.
Savannah offers three types of Suites: Luxury Tented, Executive and the Savanna Suite. The Luxury Tented and Executive Suites combine the romance of a tented roof, with the sophistication of a permanent structure that ensures luxury and privacy. The Savanna Suite is situated at the very edge of the bush, with an uninterrupted view onto a waterhole. It has two beautifully appointed bedrooms, separated by a large lounge and private dining area and a private deck and plunge pool.
The central lounge and dining room are in an impressive building under thatch, with a view of the swimming pool and waterhole. Enjoy game viewing from the upstairs library, where wifi access is available, or browse the well-stocked curio shop. The open air boma creates a warm, friendly atmosphere, where traditional African meals can be enjoyed under the stars.
In order to showcase the beauty and fascination of Africa’s flora and fauna optional walking safaris are offered each day, along with trips from the lodge to the local Shangaan Village. Game drives are conducted by professional and extremely well qualified game rangers and trackers, who are experienced and knowledgeable on all aspects of the bush. Lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah, hippo & crocodile plus a multitude of general game and over 450 bird species may be viewed from the comfort& safety of your open vehicle.
