Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef is a remote, beachside safari camp nestled in the dunes of Western Australia’s Cape Range National Park, approximately 1200km north of Perth and 40km from Exmouth.
Your luxury wilderness tent accommodation is designed to expose you to the sights and sounds of the great outdoors … a red kangaroo grazing amongst the dunes, the beautiful song of a butcherbird or a humpback whale breaching just beyond the reef. With just 9 wilderness tents for up to 18 guests Sal Salis ensures an exclusive experience. While an exclusive bush experience does not need to be 5-star in the traditional sense, there are a few key comforts that are crucial to your luxury camping experience like a supremely comfortable bed, 100% cotton linen, a choice of pillows, an environmentally friendly eco-ensuite and delicious food and great hosting. This model ecotourism camp generates 100% of its power through the sun and as there are no fresh water mains within the Cape Range National Park, guests are allocated 20L per person per day for showering.
The World Heritage Area of the Ningaloo Coast provides one of Australia’s great marine experiences, whilst the limestone backdrop of the Cape Range hides deep gorges of spectacular beauty. The wildlife and spectacular location tell the story of our wonderful spot at Ningaloo Reef. Guests can enjoy guided snorkelling, kayaking and hiking activities and in season, can opt to swim with whale sharks or take a whale watching cruise to spot humpbacks on their annual migrations.
