Set within the vast eastern Serengeti, The Retreats at Namiri Plains provide an exclusive haven for families and groups seeking a private safari experience. Each of the two Retreats features two full-size bedrooms with sliding doors opening onto a wraparound deck, offering panoramic views over the grassy plains. The en suite bathrooms are spacious and luxurious, with glass-fronted showers and private, free-standing outdoor bathtubs tucked around each end of the deck for privacy.  
Between the bedrooms lies a lounge and dining area, seamlessly flowing onto the central section of the deck, allowing for both indoor and al fresco dining. A private firepit completes the setting, perfect for enjoying sundowners as the sun dips below the horizon. With a dedicated chef to prepare personalised meals, and a private safari guide and vehicle at your disposal, guests have the freedom to tailor each day to their preferences. 
The Retreats share a swimming pool and lounge area, reserved exclusively for Retreat guests and ensuring a tranquil space to unwind between game drives. Guests also have access to the main camp’s amenities, including the spa and information centre. 
Situated in a region renowned for its high density of big cats, guests can expect exceptional wildlife encounters, from lions and cheetahs to servals and caracals. For those interested in conservation, an evening with researchers from the Serengeti Cheetah Project offers insightful perspectives into the area’s wildlife.
