Patio del Mundo in the heart of Medellin’s popular El Poblado district is a magnificent example of calm, quietude and tranquility.
The hotel was originally a private house and each of the seven rooms are elegantly styled, some with small private patios and jacuzzis, and are inspired by different parts of the globe namely Provence, Andalusia, India, Bali, Africa, Santa Fe and close to home, Cartagena.
Within the property there is a library and small lounge area decorated with handicrafts from all over Colombia and a terrace which guests can sit at and get some fresh air while filling up at breakfast-time.
The garden is stunning, filled with mango trees and wild orchids and features a pathway leading to a small decking area with a jacuzzi.
