Nyamatusi Mahogany, is the perfect luxury safari experience for families. Consisting of just a handful of stylish tented suites nestled under ancient mahogany trees on the lush shores of the mighty Zambezi River, it has been designed with exclusivity and serenity in mind.
The camp’s bespoke design embodies the style and serenity of its pristine surrounds. Set under elegant canvas, accommodation comprises just two tented suites and two family suites. The lounge, dining room, fire circle, plunge pool, and elevated viewing decks flaunt uninterrupted views of the glittering river, teeming floodplain, and dramatic escarpment beyond. Solar‐powered and built from all‐natural materials, the entire experience is powered by nature.
Set within a private concession in Mana Pools National Park, guests can expect the utmost flexibility in activities. Given the impressive wildlife concentrations, thrilling extravaganzas often unfold on game drives or when heading out on a birding safari. Those over the age of sixteen can experience the majesty of the wilderness while canoeing down the Zambezi River and fishing on the river banks (catch and release only). For younger family members, a wide range of tailor made activities are on offer with specialist guides.
Mana Pools is known as one of the last pioneer parks lying in the great African Rift valley and this very special camp provides an explorer’s paradise for safari goers of all ages.
