Entebbe is set on the shore of Lake Victoria and it is easy to explore on foot, by boda bodas (local motorbikes) or by car. Browse local markets brimming with fabrics and crafts, wander the botanical gardens, cruise on Lake Victoria or take a day trip to the Ngamba Island Chimp Sanctuary or Mabamba Swamp ‐ a must for birdwatchers.
