Dahabiyas are river-going sailboats which were common in Egypt during the 1920s-40s, when aristocrats and sophisticated travellers used them to cruise the Nile in style. Today, sailing aboard a dahabiya boat remains one of the most exclusive and relaxing ways to experience the Nile.
MS Mandalla is a luxurious river yacht offering 12 elegantly furnished cabins, each with a panoramic window through which to view the passing scenery in privacy. Every cabin measures a spacious 13 square metres and has full-sized double or twin beds dressed in Egyptian cotton sheets. If you prefer to share the experience with your fellow travellers, there is a spacious sundeck where you can enjoy the gentle breeze as you take in the sights and sounds of river life.
Accommodation on board the MS Mandalla Dahabiya is on a full board basis and you will enjoy the company of an Egyptologist guide during your excursions.
