Located strategically in the middle of the dunes of Erg Chebi Desert, Merzouga Luxury Desert Camps offer a spectacular nomadic experience. Only an hour and a half from Erfoud you can enjoy clear skies, bright stars, shimmering vistas, intense colours and huge dunes in a magical oasis.
The ‘Haimas’, traditional tents made from camel skin (as typically used by nomadic people), are equipped with wall-to-wall rugs, solar-powered lighting and handcrafted furniture, and offer en-suite bathroom facilities.
Mealtime is an integral part of camp life and despite being in the middle of nowhere the quality of food is excellent. Drinks, both soft and alcoholic (beer & wine) are available at any time of day with a full bar also on offer at additional cost. Breakfast includes fresh fruit, muesli, yoghurt, pancakes, eggs to order and freshly-squeezed orange juice plus coffee or tea.
