Little Machaba invites travellers to step into an era of timeless safari adventure. Tucked within the Khwai Concession, this intimate camp captures the charm of a bygone age with a modern commitment to comfort, conservation, and exceptional wildlife viewing. With only four tents, guests are assured privacy, attentive service, and the sense of staying in a camp that feels entirely their own.
Each tent is elevated on wooden decks and shaded by mature trees, offering views across the floodplains and seasonal channels. En suite bathrooms include both indoor and outdoor showers, and interiors blend canvas, wood, and brass with soft linens and campaign-style furniture.
Daily activities are designed to showcase the rich biodiversity of the Okavango Delta’s eastern fringes. Whether gliding silently by mokoro, tracking wildlife on foot, or heading out on morning and afternoon game drives, sightings of elephants, lions, wild dogs, and leopards are common. Night drives reveal a secret world of nocturnal animals, while walking safaris offer a slower, sensory experience.
Little Machaba’s central areas include a comfortable lounge and open-air dining area, with meals often served beneath the stars or beside the fire. Between activities, guests can unwind in the small pool or enjoy birdwatching from the deck.
