Nestling in a palm grove just 20 minutes outside bustling Marrakech, and with a backdrop of the Atlas Mountains, is a Moorish-style palace, Ksar Char-Bagh.
A purpose built palace with exceptional attention to detail this Relais & Chateau property has 13 suites, each one different in design, shape and style but all with their own private garden or terrace. Suites are decorated in typical Moroccan antique furniture with splashes of silk and soft linen. There are numerous gardens to wander through – don’t miss a tour of the herb garden – and the palm-shaded pool is difficult to leave.
Cuisine is simply superb and the French chef specializes a blend of Mediterranean, French and Moroccan flavours. Meals are served by the pool in the restaurant, on your terrace, a different place for each meal.
If you are looking for activity the hotel has two pools, tennis courts, mountain biking, billiard room, golf practice course and golf course close by. To relax there is a hammam and massage rooms, beauty treatments, and a boutique. Internet is available.
