The camp’s three spacious tents are crafted from durable canvas with fine mosquito mesh frontage, blending seamlessly into the surroundings while providing uninterrupted views of the wilderness. Each tent features an en suite bathroom with a flush toilet, hand basin, and a traditional bucket shower, ensuring comfort without compromising the camp’s low-impact ethos. A standout feature is the retractable roof over each bed, allowing guests to sleep beneath a vast African sky.
Days at Kokoko are tailored entirely to guests’ preferences. Embark on expertly guided game drives, explore the bush on foot, or settle into camp and watch wildlife pass by. With exclusive access to the area, encounters with elephants, lions, leopards, and rare antelope species are frequent and intimate. Night drives offer a chance to witness Ruaha’s nocturnal world come to life, revealing elusive creatures rarely seen by day.
Dining at Kokoko is an experience in itself. Meals are prepared over an open fire and served in ever-changing locations—beneath the trees, in a lantern-lit riverbed, or around the campfire beneath a canopy of stars.
