A Contemporary Take on Classic Okavango Safari
Kiri Camp brings a refined yet adventurous spirit to the heart of the Okavango Delta. Located within a private concession along the Kiri River, this elegant tented camp offers access to some of the Delta’s richest wildlife territory. With only ten tented suites, including two family units, the camp ensures an intimate, personalised experience in a landscape teeming with life.
Each suite is spacious and tastefully designed, combining canvas and wood with floor-to-ceiling mesh panels to bring the outside in. Expect en suite bathrooms with indoor and outdoor showers, plush beds draped in mosquito netting, and private verandas offering river views. The central area includes a lounge, bar, and dining space that spills out to a firepit and pool deck overlooking the water.
Safari experiences here are tailored to the seasons, with traditional game drives complemented by walking safaris and mokoro excursions when water levels allow. This flexibility means guests can encounter elephants crossing floodplains, lions resting beneath acacias, or red lechwe bounding through the shallows. Birding is superb, and predators are commonly sighted.
Beyond the game viewing, Kiri Camp embraces a sustainable ethos. Built with natural materials and powered by solar, it partners with local communities to foster conservation and education initiatives. Children are welcome, with interleading tents and a flexible approach that allows families to explore together.
