Romantic sundowners at King Lewanika in Liuwa Plains National Park

Lewanika

Liuwa Plain National Park, Zambia

A hidden gem

Situated in a region that is one of the least known and little visited national parks in the area, King Lewanika is a hidden gem, providing its visitors with incredibly intimate opportunities for game viewing that are equally as impressive as some of the more well‐known national parks in Southern Africa.

Blue wildebeest, buffaloes, zebras, red lechwes and predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog and spotted hyena, are just a handful of the animals
that roam these vast plains year round. When not on a game drive, guests can keep entertained by exploring the region on a walking safari, or by motorboat
and kayak when water levels permit.

The lodge is made up of 6 old‐world safari‐style canvased villas that have been raised on wooden platforms and include their own private deck with
spectacular views of the floodplains ahead.
With top‐notch, experienced guides and intimate safari excursions, King Lewanika brings unrivaled access and absolute exclusivity to this unspoiled
region.
