Khwai Bush Camp is located on a permanent site on Tsaro Concession, overlooking the famed Moremi Game Reserve. Built on the banks of the Khwai River and nestled amongst a forest of sycamore and leadwood trees, the camp is quiet and peaceful, preserving the romance of yester‐year and a simpler life in harmony with nature.
The camp consists of 4 standard and 2 family thatched chalets, each enjoying private en suite bathrooms with indoor showers and beautiful views over the permanent water source and beyond into the Moremi Game Reserve. The main area offers a stylish lounge, indoor and outdoor dining areas, a shady verandah
and an impressive viewing deck perched on the river bank offering fantastic views and unrivalled wildlife encounters, gin and tonic in hand!
The surrounding area offers ecosystems ranging from enchanted forests and undulating grasslands to lush floodplains and meandering lagoons and this makes it one of the most consistent areas for wildlife year‐round. Game drives both during the day and at night will provide excellent and unexpected sightings while guided bush walks, mokoro safaris (seasonal) and visits to local villages will complete your bush experience.
