Ken River Lodge

Panna National Park, India

A wildlife oasis

Ken River Lodge made a humble start in 1986. Driven by  passion for wildlife and conservation,  Shyamendra Singh, grandson of the Maharaja of Nadgod, established the lodge.

The lodge is built with natural materials sourced mostly from neighboring villages and the lodge estate. It is set in a natural forest which is home to many animals like Langur monkeys, wild boar, jungle cats and jackals.

The lodge has 6 village style huts and 10 cottages both with en-suite bathrooms. The huts and cottages are spread out in 50 acres of mixed jungle in undulating terrain, giving one of the best jungle experiences in the country.

The Machaan, also known as the Tree House overlooks the Ken River that runs for nearly a mile through the property. The local staff, naturalist, boatman and Shyamendra and his wife, together help to make your stay one to remember.
