True to its name, the warm and welcoming Garden Lodge is set amongst an Eden of beautifully landscaped fynbos gardens and indigenous trees. Constructed in stone, thatch and timber, it reflects the warm, robust African landscape blending perfectly into its surroundings yet retaining a contemporary twist and a sense of effortless style.
Nestled carefully into the natural gaps of an enchanted Milkwood forest, each of the 11 freestanding suites are stylishly furnished with luxurious canopy beds, spacious en suite bathrooms, separate lounges with cosy fireplaces and private wooden decks with spectacular panoramic views. The main lodge offers an elegant restaurant, spacious lounge, beauty salon, and library while the wooden deck, terrace and pool area offer the perfect spot for relaxation, taking in the sounds of the African bush and enjoying the breathtaking panoramic views. For children there is an outdoor play area with rabbits, ducks and other friendly farm animals as well as beautifully kept horse stables to provide hours of education and fun.
During your stay you may wish to ride the lodge’s immaculate horses, partake in guided walks and bird watches, join a tour of the coast and the local caves or enjoy a beach picnic and spot whales from the cliffs. The lodge can arrange additional activities at your request including shark cage diving, wine tours, scenic flights, quad biking, marine big-five safaris and much more.
