Pepper Camp

Maasai Mara, Kenya

Cheetah Country

Elephant Pepper Camp is situated in the Mara North Conservancy, right on the northern edge of the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, tucked away in a prime wildlife area. The conservancy is the key dispersal zone for the annual ‘Great Migration’ and supports an extensive variety of wildlife from big cats to plains game and over 450 bird species. Surrounded by the Mara’s ubiquitous game, it’s a seasonal camp, which closes for two months of the year in order to preserve this special area.

The camp is nestled in the shade of a natural forest overlooking the vast Mara plains and has only ten canvas tents, including two family/honeymoon tents. All are en-suite with dressing rooms, safari showers filled with hot water on request and flush toilets.

The menu is traditional Northern Italian recipes mixed with international and local favourites. A grill by the campfire, dinner in the mess tent or a bush breakfast on the open plains are some of the lasting memories to take home. Walking with qualified guides and unwinding around the glowing embers of a campfire all add to the authenticity of a true bush experience.

Whilst at Elephant Pepper Camp you can enjoy the range of game viewing in open-sided vehicles and guided bush walks which explore the less obvious wildlife flora and fauna. You will be assigned a personal guide for the duration of your stay providing a service that is second to none.
