Casa Galavanta is a private property located in the heart of Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a lush mountain range that climbs to an altitude of 5,776m and is just 42km from the Caribbean coast, making it the highest coastal mountain range in the world. The cloud forests here harbour an astonishing biodiversity of flora and fauna.
The lodge sits at 1,500m above sea level, between dense rainforest and coffee fields, with a perfect view of the ocean. Built entirely of wood and glass it blends seamlessly into the natural environment and offers minimalist but stylish accommodation with top eco-credentials. The bedrooms offer oversized beds, quality linens and hammocks, and common areas include a living room with fireplace, large deck with fire pit, open-concept kitchen, dining area and kitchen garden. Activities centre around nature and wellness.
