Arakur Ushuaia Resort is set on a magnificent outcrop, 250m above sea level, offering panoramic views of the city and surrounding landscape.
Arakur has a total of 131 spacious rooms and suites, spread across four floors with many boasting views across the Beagle Channel. Each of the splendid rooms and suites is decorated using indigenous Argentine materials, such as copper, marble, stone, woods, and leather. The La Cravia offers “haute cuisine” and it is the ideal setting to enjoy breakfast or dinner after a walk or a ski day. Together with views of the Beagle Channel guests can feast on delicacies such as king crab, lamb, Patagonian sea bass and a typical Argentine grill, among others. Guests can enjoy the 17-meters lap swimming pool, an in-out relax pool with hydro-jets areas and two hot tubs on the outdoor deck with panoramic views.
Arakur Ushuaia is located in an exceptional area of the Reserva Natural Cerro Alarken, a preservation of native forest of lengas, ňires and coihues trees and a variety of flora and fauna that spans 100 hectares. The centre of Ushuaia, the world’s southernmost city is just a short distance away and is the jumping off point for Antarctic expeditions and beyond. There is a wealth of activities that can be enjoyed in the region including hiking, huski-dog sledding, boating and wildlife viewing.
