Anjajavy le Lodge

Madagascar

Idyllically remote

Anjajavy l’Hotel is located on an idyllic stretch of unspoilt coastline overlooking the Mozambique Channel on the remote northwest coast of Madagascar.

The hotel is set in extensive tropical gardens and is backed by deciduous forest. The hotel is small and intimate with just 24 en‐suite rosewood villas with large terraces facing the sea. There is a swimming pool facing the sea and a great restaurant and bar offering an international menu of fresh produce with a touch of Malagasy specialities.

Anjajavy is perfect for relaxation however for those who like to be active there are catamarans, wind surfing, snorkelling and kayaking available. Wildlife is prolific and walks through the forest reveal chameleons, frogs and the elusive fossa. There are two diurnal lemur species, the common brown lemur and Coquerel’s sifaka, both of which are easily seen. Within the 550 ha Anjajavy Nature Reserve there are a number of marked trails that vary in length. Paths lead you to points of interest including huge baobab trees, fishing villages, tsingy, mangrove swamps, caves and more. Your guide will explain the medicinal use of plants and help you to spot the wildlife.

Anjajavy l’Hotel is set along the Mozambique Channel in an extremely diverse environment where flora and fauna offer a perfect reflection of Malagasy nature.
