Narina Lodge sits gracefully above the winding Sabie River, offering guests a private and immersive safari in one of South Africa’s most celebrated wilderness regions. Located within a private concession of the Kruger National Park, this exclusive retreat features just nine suites, each raised on stilts and suspended within the riverside canopy. The design invites the outside in, with wide glass doors, open decks, and outdoor showers all framing views of the surrounding bush and the ever-changing river below.
Each suite features a king-sized bed, a deep free-standing bath, indoor and outdoor showers, and a private deck with a plunge pool, creating a tranquil sanctuary between game drives. Whether you’re soaking in the tub with elephants below or enjoying morning coffee with birdsong overhead, Narina effortlessly blends comfort and nature.
Days at Narina are centred around exceptional wildlife experiences. Morning and evening game drives explore the surrounding Big Five territory, often revealing sightings of lions, leopards, rhino, buffalo and elephant. Guided bush walks offer a more intimate perspective, revealing the region’s smaller wonders, from tracks and insects to ancient trees and birdlife.
Back at the lodge, guests can enjoy drinks on the main deck, relax in the lounge with uninterrupted river views, or dine al fresco beneath the stars. Service is attentive yet discreet, ensuring a personalised and memorable stay.
