Engulfed in the expansive central Serengeti, Kati Kati Tented Camp is perfectly positioned to place you at the very heart of this globally renowned wilderness. Far from the crowds of the periphery, Kati Kati benefits from its remoteness with solitude and exclusivity.
Ten twin – double tents and one family tent shelter in a glade of thorn trees, each with large netted windows providing expansive views of the nearby grasslands. Each tent has its own private bathroom, with a bucket shower for that authentic wilderness camp feel. A central mess tent is shared for meals and also provides an area to relax, converse or analyse your many photos from the day’s game drive.
As a mobile camp, Kati Kati’s exact location changes throughout the year, though not straying far from the central Serengeti region. This is particularly beneficial during the Great Migration, and the camp takes full advantage of its privileged location. Daily game drives take you away from camp each day, but even on your doorstep, curious wildlife can be spotted. Tranquil camp life includes campfire stories and sundowners, while for the more adventurous, or perhaps more romantic, hot-air balloon flights can be added to your time in camp.
