Victoria Falls River Lodge is the first private game lodge to be built in the Zambezi National Park. Situated on the banks of the Zambezi River, the Zambezi Crescent Collection’s pioneer lodge is so close to the famous Victoria Falls that one can see the spray in the distance.
The Victoria Falls River Lodge’s Island Treehouse Suites offer a luxurious and exclusive retreat located within the shady recesses of the private Kandahar Island in the middle of the Zambezi River. Accessible only by boat from the mainland, the Treehouse Suites are built of timber and glass on elevated decks overlooking the river. The four Island Treehouse Suites are elegantly appointed with an air-conditioned bedroom, sitting areas, private deck and plunge pool. The suites are connected to the main guest areas by raised walkways through the wood-land so guests of the treehouses can access all areas of the lodge, while guests of the luxury tents cannot access the treehouse facilities. Each Island Treehouse Suite is perfectly positioned to maximise spectacular views of the legendary Zambezi and surrounds.
Activities include sunrise and sunset river cruises on the Zambezi; guided morning and afternoon game drives into the nearby Zambezi National Park; wildlife viewing from your own deck and a tour of the Victoria Falls.
