Lemala Ngorongoro is an intimate, seasonal camp set in a delightful, ancient acacia forest on the rim of the crater next to the quiet Lemala access route. The camp is within close proximity to the Ol Moti and Empakai craters, which offer beautiful landscapes and scenery.
The camp offers 8 luxury tents and 1 family tent which ensures seclusion in a pristine forest environment. Each spacious tent is fitted with large single or king sized beds, en-suite bathrooms and a delightful dressing area. The main tent is then beautifully furnished with grand sofas, lamps, chests and rugs. In the evening guests gather around the campfire for sundowners before dining under chandeliers, to a hosted dinner.
The advantage of Lemala’s camp is the quick and easy access into the crater, which maximizes game viewing opportunities. Game drives from the camp may start at 6:15am and only take 15 minutes to descend to the crater floor where the scenery is breathtaking and the wildlife abundant.
