In the heart of the Cape Winelands Akademie Street is within an easy stroll of renowned restaurants and attractions in the village and almost all of the most famous vineyards of the Cape Winelands are a short drive away.
Spend the day exploring the charming French Huguenot town of Franschhoek which is full of excellent restaurants, boutiques and art galleries exhibiting South African art, and of course the nearby vineyards.
Attractions situated close to the Guest House include the Bordeaux Street Art Gallery and Butterfly World, whilst the Cabriére Estate, Landau du Val and Môreson are just a few of the 20 wine estates in the surrounding area that offer wine sales and tasting, cellar and vineyard tours.
