Perfectly located within the exclusive Agdal area of Rabat, Villa Mandarine has been the property of a French family for several generations and has been lovingly transformed by the owners into a charming, sunlit hotel, surrounded by 2 hectares of orange groves.
The house and garden blend effortlessly together to create an oasis of relaxation. The colourful and comfortable 31 rooms and 5 suites have been individually decorated and display pieces of artwork, which have been carefully chosen to compliment the character of each room. They all offer panoramic views of the gardens and are organised around a central courtyard that features a fountain and beautifully cultivated rose garden. The main house comprises a spacious living-room with a fireplace, a billiard room, a bar and intimate terraces shaded by bougainvillea.
You can indulge in fine dining at the Villa Mandarine Restaurant, hailed as one of Morocco’s best, where Ivy Le Roux Dupeyron, the talented chef, has succeeded in making his mark whilst continuously setting higher standards of quality; or dine in the garden beneath the shade of Datura and Jasmine trees. The heated swimming pool is surrounded by inviting sunbeds and there is also a hammam, onsite gym and spa with an array of treatments on offer.
Villa Mandarine is ideal prior to departure from Casablanca, or for relaxing on arrival after a long haul flight; whilst also offering the opportunity to discover the historical wonders of Rabat. If time permits visit La Tour Hassan, the Mausoleum and the Kasbah of the Udayas. Rabat is also home to the prestigious Dar es Salaam Golf Club – an award winning Robert Trent Jones, Sr. designed course.
