Sabi Sabi epitomizes Africa’s magic. With no fences between the reserve & the Kruger Park, big game abounds and moves freely. Offering a great biodiversity of habitat & wildlife you have an excellent chance of close encounters with the ‘Big Five’ – elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion & leopard – as well as wild dog and cheetah.
It was established in 1979 as a private game reserve and today it offers not only magnificent wildlife but also four exquisite camps and lodges ready to welcome just a handful of guests into the wilderness.
For decades Bush Lodge has been Sabi Sabi’s flagship lodge, famed for its warmth, vibrancy and legendary hospitality. Each of the spacious, air-conditioned thatched suites is beautifully appointed, featuring stylish ethnic décor, four poster beds and inside-outside en suite bathrooms.
Huge viewing decks are the ideal setting to relax while spotting game, birdwatching, or cooling off in the filtered pools. Meals, including the atmospheric dinners in the open air boma, are heralded by blasts on a kudu horn.
