Migration Camp

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

A mobile safari in the Serengeti

Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp is a fully mobile safari camp which tracks the great wildebeest migration from the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti National Park. Being fully mobile the camp allows for exceptional viewing of the wildebeest movement, as well as fantastic encounters with the resident game and the predators that follow.

Each of the tents is spacious and airy offering 12mx4m of floor space, full furnishings including a four poster mosquito-netted bed and an en-suite flush bathroom. The main camp area comprises a lounge tent with library, a dining tent and a fire pit – always a favourite spot for relaxing with a sundowner and sharing stories from the day. The whole camp is lit by kerosene lanterns and scented beeswax candles to create an atmospheric setting reminiscent of the earliest days of safari exploration.

Game viewing is the main focus here with experienced guides ready to share their knowledge on twice daily 4×4 game drives. Drives to the Bologonja and Mara Rivers put you in the best position to witness the rare spectacle of a  river crossing when herds dramatically run gauntlets of crocodiles, although this can not be guaranteed. Guided walking safaris are available and come highly        recommended for those wishing to explore the wilderness on foot, catching the scent of the herds on the breeze and learning the intricate details of the bush.

Nasikia Mobile Migration Camp places you right in the thick of it with the promise of some phenomenal wildlife encounters.
