Adrenalin-fuelled sightings
Kaskaz Mara Camp is just a short drive from the exciting Mara River viewing area, a prime spot to watch herds of blue wildebeest plunge into the infamously perilous Mara River. The crossings are full of adrenalin and make for some heart stopping sightings but cannot be guaranteed since exact timings are notoriously difficult to predict.
The ten tented suites are privately positioned to ensure peace and seclusion. Each is large and airy with a outward facing lounge area, large netted windows for optimal wildlife viewing and draped roofing to encourage a gentle through breeze. Oversized beds, luxury linens and light cotton curtains add a sense of elegance while hand-carved Swahili style furniture ensures the styling remains authentic.
Dining is an experience in itself and you are free to choose sociable meals shared around a long table or private dining served by lantern light. Surprise bush breakfasts seemingly appear from nowhere in the most beautiful and unexpected locations while a roaring campfire is the perfect spot for sundowners at the end of each day.
Although this area is known for the annual wildebeest migration, the resident game here is also prolific and you can expect to see lions, leopards, rhinos, elehphants and more on your game drives. Leaving the vehicle to explore the bush on foot provides a whole new perspective and a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti is simply breathtaking.
