Safari Camp

Lewa Conservancy, Kenya

Conservation minded luxury camp

Lewa Safari Camp has a stunning location within the private 65,000 acre Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, with outstanding game viewing and spectacular views of Mt Kenya to the south and the arid lowlands to the north.

Each tent has a thatched roof, verandah and en-suite bathroom. The central dining and bar areas are surrounded by lush gardens with a stylish swimming pool to relax in the heat of the day, and cosy log fires in the lounge for chilly evenings.

The Conservancy is home to close to 10% of Kenya’s black rhino population and the largest population of Grevy’s zebra in the world. Apart from the rhino and zebra there are also elephants, buffalo, giraffe, cheetah, lions and an array of antelope species as well as many colourful and interesting birds. First class guides are with you on walks and game drives and they are a font of knowledge on the botany of the area, its paleontology history and of course all the wildlife species.

When you visit Lewa, apart from enjoying outstanding game viewing in a beautiful location, you are also helping many of the local peoples to improve their lives and give their children a future, as well as ensuring Africa’s wildlife has a stable home.
