Paying homage to the unique structures that were once used to build the magnificent forts for the Dutch East India Company – otherwise known as the VOC – Eighth Bastion, located in the Malabar region of Fort Kochi, is remnant of a time long past where the VOC was busy trading and fighting over spices and trade routes, a battle which lasted approximately 300 long years.
Taking inspiration from this Dutch Nautical theme, one can expect to find Dutch artworks and Nautical artefacts including replicas of ancient Dutch war boats and canons scattered around the property.
