Jaagir Lodge, one of The Ultimate Travelling Camp’s properties is situated deep in the Terai in range of the forest reserves of Dudhwa, Pilibhit, Kishanpur, Katarniaghat and neighbouring Nepal.
With the multiple bordering surrounds brings the opportunity to see or photograph all sorts of nature and wildlife – perhaps deer, the elusive tiger or rare flora.
Guests can take a step back and cycle around sugarcane farms, sit in awe watching majestic elephants pass by, or take leisurely boat rides to see the gharials hunting in the shallow waters.
Cross tall grasslands, clay-rich swaps and shrub savanna, meet members of the ethnic Tharu tribe and at the end of a day’s adventure, retreat with a sunset signature beverage and interact with the resident naturalists.
