Posada Amazonas located within the pristine Amazon Rainforest, connects the traveller to the cultural and natural wonders of the Tambopata jungle.
Conveniently located just two hours from Puerto Maldonado inside the Ese Eja Native Community of Infierno – the private communal reserve, the traveller first flies from Lima or Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado before a one hour road trip then a tranquil further’s hours’ boating adventure before arriving to the jungle oasis.
The lodge offers ample opportunities to view local wildlife and to discover ancient indigenous heritage with its unique set of activities where each person can embark on their own program depending on their interests and physical capabilities.
Rooms have an open wall facing the Amazon rainforest in order to wake up to the jungle sounds in the morning. Mosquito nets cover each bed and bathrooms have eco-friendly and biodegradable amenities.
