The Melia Hotel boasts a privileged location. It’s the only hotel on the actual premises of Iguazú National Park, set right by the Iguazú Falls, with a breathtaking view of Devil’s Throat, the largest and most spectacular fall, from both the lobby’s picture window.
The three floor resort offers 176 spacious guest rooms with views of the Iguazu Falls and rainforest. Each guestroom has a private balcony and large windows providing you with lovely views of your surroundings. The hotel’s spectacular Spa features a variety of treatment options in five indoor massage cabins.
Additionally, the spa offers a spacious Zen relaxing room, salon, sauna, steam room, and a large heated whirlpool for therapeutic treatments. Guests can also enjoy a fully-equipped gym, children’s pool, and adult pool with a pool bar. Dining options include a buffet at Iguazu Restaurant, cocktails and snacks from the lobby bar or poolside snacks from Jeriba Bar.
The hotel rightly takes great pride in its spectacular natural surroundings. Guests walk straight out from their rooms and are immediately immersed in the national park, within walking distance of the falls. In 1981 UNESCO declared Iguazú National Park to have Mankind Natural Heritage status.
