Jungle Lodge

Yasuni Biosphere Reserve, Ecuador

Premier eco-lodge

La Selva Jungle Lodge is located in the heart of the Ecuadorian Amazon rainforest, just off the Napo River, within the Yasuni Biosphere Reserve. This region is one of the most biodiverse places on Earth, home to literally millions of species of plants, animals, birds and insects.

La Selva Amazon Ecolodge has eighteen spacious suites, including some scenic suites with a view of Lake Garzacocha and roomy family suites for those who have brought their children along on their jungle adventure. Rooms have large picture windows and ceiling fans to keep the air circulating and their design has been inspired by local homes used by the natives for generations.

During your stay you will enjoy a variety of jungle activities. Naturalists will guide you through an extensive trail system filled with wildlife in what many consider the most biologically-diverse lodge in the entire Amazon. There is a variety of walking trails, canoe excursions, parrot clay lick, butterfly farm and an observation tower which offers great views across the canopy and surrounding forest from 35 metres above. The Amazon Jungle offers opportunities for cultural exchange, photography, adventure, hiking, relaxation, birdwatching and wildlife observation. The area surrounding La Selva has perhaps the largest list of bird species in the neo-tropics due to its ideal location on the border of Yasuni National Park. Thanks to biodiversity and top-notch guides, you will have the chance to see unique flora and fauna.
