The andBeyond Vira Vira is set in a beautiful and unique location close to Pucón, in the northern Lakes District, the mecca for adventure sports in Chile.
The property features a 23ha native park along the shores of the Liucura River and offers an oasis of peace and recreation. The hotel is both a hacienda and a hotel in style, a relais & chateaux affiliabte. The hacienda operates a fully-fledged farm on over 40ha and its principal aim is to provide fresh, healthy and delicious food to guests and an interesting insight into the operations of a modern farm and cheese dairy. The hotel is luxurious and elegant, designed to offer space and comfort of the highest level. The restaurant presents critcally acclaimed cuisine using produce straight from the farm. Everyday, chef Alberto Damián Fernández Dupouy carefully creates elaborate menus dubbed ‘an expression of the terroir’ for the enjoyment of guests, finding his inspiration in traditional Mapuche recipes.
Each day guests will meet with their excursion manager to discuss and set the next day’s activities. Some of our favourite activities include horse trekking in the Cordilleras, hiking in one of the many surrounding Natural Parks, kayaking and river rafting, fly-fishing, skiing in winter or simply spending a leisurely day sailing on the Lake Villarrica. The ascension to the volcano Villarrica is rewarded by a bath in a thermal spring in the heart of nature!
