Zawadi sits atop a cliff on the south east coast of Zanzibar with a spectacular view of the Indian Ocean and a beautiful cove of pristine white sandy beach. Being small and exclusive, it is a peaceful hideaway offering the best of idyllic island life on Zanzibar.
The nine private villas are secluded and spacious with over 100 sqm of ocean-facing space to enjoy. There are endless activities to keep you busy during your stay at Zawadi whether you prefer to dive the extensive reef system, snorkel straight from the beach or walk ten minutes to a nearby mangrove forest to explore this pristine coastal environment on foot and by local ngalawa (boat). Excursions can be arranged to Stone Town where you can the island’s history and heritage or to Jozani Forest, home of the endangered Zanzibar Red Colobus.
